Location:
Tres Ríos is located close to the east of the capital of Costa Rica, San José. This production region is affected by the Irazú volcano and this proximity to the heat of the land yields a gourmet beverage, which has been named the Bordeaux of Costa Rica. Tres Rios is a small coffee-growing region, thus making it very homogeneous in its climate and soil.
Harvest:
The harvest season extends from August to February, coinciding with the dry season.
Organoleptic properties:
Tres Ríos produces a unique cup with respect to its perfect balance - high acidity, full body and strong aroma.
