Location:
Orosi is one of the oldest communities in Costa Rica. The Colonial Church, in use since 1743, stands out among it treasures. The town of Orosi is located in a valley in the central plateau, 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the capital. It has an area of 315 km² (122 miles²).
Harvest:
In Orosi and Paraíso, coffee is harvested between August and February, in Cachí from October to February.
Organoleptic properties:
It’s a well-balanced cup, with light to medium acidity, a floral taste and ideal for preparation of espresso-based drinks.
